Project: Redfield aims for realism which makes it very unforgiving.
All actions have consequences which punish the careless and rewards the players that have a good game sense and plan out their actions.
The game takes place in a large and very detailed open world where everything is accessible.
You can go wherever you want and all buildings feature interiors that you can explore.
True First Person
The game will be played in true first person view. This means that when you look down, you will actually have legs and a full body for better immersion.
There will be no third person camera or floating reticles.
Survival in Project: Redfield is challenging and interesting and we strive to make all kinds of play styles viable.
You can win by being everything from extremely aggressive hunting down your opponents to being a passive nature survivalist.
Unlike most survival games, Project: Redfield is played in matches with an ending and a winner.
The player that survives the longest wins the game. Matches will have varying lengths and rule sets depending on server.
What is Project: Redfield?
Project: Redfield is a realistic survival game with an open world set on a fictitious island off of China’s southern coast.
On this island matches are held against their participants will and the only rule of these games is that only one participant may survive to leave the island and how you do that is entirely up to you, nothing is off limits.
There are no zombies or other monsters in Project: Redfield. You survive against nature and the other participants.
Hard But Fair
Project: Redfield won’t hold your hand, it’s hard but it’s going to be equally hard on everyone. No one will have an advantage upon entering a new match.
First Person Only
Project: Redfield will always be played in True First Person, no peeking around corners with a third person camera.
